Project Description: On behalf of the Pakistan-German Development Cooperation, GIZ has been focusing on the promotion of renewable energy technology and energy efficiency improvement in Pakistan since 2005. In this respect, the GB Power Development Board prepared a comprehensive integrated plan for the development and utilization of power and energy resources in GB. This was to be done by prioritizing and ranking of the most suitable Micro/Mini Hydro MHP/HP sites which could then be developed by the public and private sector in the future.
