Project Description: On July 1, 2010, USAID approved $45 million to finance the development of Pakistani universities. Subsequently, on June 30, 2011, HEC decided to use the $45million to finance the University Development Program. This budget support aimed to increase the universities’ institutional capacity, research capacity, improve teaching techniques and laboratory facilities, and enhance academic degrees’ quality and applicability in academic disciplines related to agricultural sciences and hydrology.
In consultation with HEC, USAID tasked VTT to perform the monitoring and assessment of 11 universities that received UDP assistance.
